Alphatax Ireland Summer 2009 Edition

Tax Computer Systems is pleased to announce that the Alphatax Ireland Summer 2009 Edition has been released. This is a major release with many enhancements including:

• CT1 2009 (Version 1) and ROS XML 2009 (Version 1)
• FA 2009 changes including:
  • The new CGT rate of 25% effective from 8 April 2009
  • The abolition of the special 20% rate applied to trading profits from dealing in or developing residential land. For periods beginning on or after 1 January 2009 income will be charged at the 25% corporation tax rate
• FA (No 2) 2008 changes including CT relief for qualifying start-up companies
• Major enhancements to Alphatax functionality
